The company was responsible for the coordination of the writing of a consortium’s proposal to the “Neighbourhood Approach” call for proposal published by the AFD in 2022. The consortium was composed of Action Against Hunger, the Danish Refugee Council, the American University of Beirut and KAFA.
ITAR Consultants’ role was to coordinate the process of conception of the project and lead the writing of the proposal. This included a revision of the different actors’ methodologies and capacities to suggest options to mainstream gender in the proposal and eventually develop a gender transformative approach. The final proposal included a logframe and a related Gender Action Plan written by the consultant.
