Anti-Racist Movement (ARM)

As the Anti-Racist Movement (ARM) marked a decade of operations addressing the challenges of the Kafala system, the organisation sought to refine its future strategy and prepare a pitch for a multi-year funding opportunity. ITAR Consultants was commissioned to conduct a context analysis, drawing from internal documents, open-source research, and key informant interviews (KIIs). The analysis aimed to:

  • identify persisting challenges after ten years of ARM’s work, particularly in light of the Lebanese crisis and its impact on programming;
  • examine the intersectional challenges faced by women migrant domestic workers in Lebanon; and
  • highlight opportunities for future programming and advocacy efforts

The findings informed ARM’s strategic direction and were integrated into its “Racial Equity 2030” strategy”.
